Garbanzo Bean Spread

This spread is a vegetarian classic! Some people like to think of it as a replacement for tuna. Never having tasted tuna, I can’t tell you if it’s all that similar, but I can tell you that it’s fast, delicious, and kid-tested! 

Ingredients:
1 can garbanzo beans (also known as chick peas)
2-4 Tbsp Just Mayo
1 Tbsp McKay’s Chicken Style Seasoning
2 Tbsp finely diced onion

Mash up the garbanzo beans with a fork, and add the rest of the ingredients. Stir together and serve in a veggie sandwich, or as a dip with crackers! Yum!!!

Garbanzo beans are an excellent source of fiber and protein and will keep you full and fueled for your busy, active lifestyle!
