Kale Chips

Kale chips… Oh they are so good! I have had my fair share of challenges baking them, but I think I’ve figured it out. If you’re looking for a snack or tasty crispy side, this is a great choice! I made these for my dad and he couldn’t get enough of them. 🙂
 Ingredients:
4 cups washed and dry kale
Olive Oil
Nutritional Yeast
Garlic Powder
Salt
Directions:
Remove the stalk from the kale leaf and tear into fairly large pieces. Massage olive oil into the leaves so that they’re well coated. Sprinkle nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and salt over the leaves and lightly toss to coat the leaves. Seasonings are simply to taste. I would be generous with the nutritional yeast and limit the salt.
Spread kale in a single layer on a sprayed baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 8 minutes. Turn leaves and bake for an additional 3 minutes. Note: watch the kale and make sure that they don’t brown.
